He always stops by our toy chest here on his way outside and picks out a new toy. Ricco has a very even temperament and he seems to get along well with everyone and everything. How I act when I first meet new people: Ricco is friendly to new people. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. My age: Estimated to be 3 years old so estimated birthdate is 2/19/2012 Please note - we do not ship dogs. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. Rescue Me ID: 16-08-01-00336Alfie (male)

Chinese Crested Mix    Age: Young Adult

Date into Rescue: 10/14/15 Reason for being in rescue: seizure due to his condition Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? yes, Alfie has food allergies. He can only eat rabbit kibble. Weight: est 18 lbs Height: est 12' at the shoulder Adoption Fee: $200.00 Fence needed Č'Ř‹No but he would enjoy a fenced in yard or some place to go play off leash a couple of times a week What kind of home would be best for me? Alfie came to CPR with hardly any hair and sarcoptic mange. After months of treatment, he was still having issues with his skin so off to vet he went. The vet's office staff decided they liked having ... (Read More)Alfie around so much that they are fostering him until he gets adopted. On top of the mange, Alfie also has food allergies, and is now only able to eat rabbit based kibble. We are unsure of Alfie's true breeds. The breeds we listed are our best guess based on his looks and behavior. Alfie has grown a lot of his hair back, but we don't know if he is partly Chinese crested or if his skin is just so badly damaged that his hair just won't grow back in certain spots. Alfie has shown some resource guarding and would thrive best with an experienced patient adopter that can work with him on this issue. He guards his toys, bed, and his home. He would do best in a home with few visitors and no children. What is my personality like? Alfie is one smart boy! He knows how to sit and twirl, and he is a fairly quick study, especially when treats are involved. Alfie absolutely loves to play with toys, but he has shown some resource guarding with his toys so he needs to have some rules and structure when it comes to playtime. Alfie is determined, intelligent, independent, and loving. How I act when I first meet new people: Alfie is finicky with new people. He likes some new people and others he does not like. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. My age: 5 years Please note - we do not ship dogs. Rescue Me ID: 16-07-20-00335Spot (male)

Bichon Frise    Age: Senior

Date into Rescue: 02/25/2016 Reason for being in rescue: owner surrender/the story is he jumped off the bed and then couldn't use his leg so they took him to the shelter..see notes below for medical update Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? yes Spot will have 3 legs when adopted Weight: about 18 very solid lbs Height: about 12' at the shoulder Adoption Fee: $169 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Spot loves people and he wants a home where he can be an very day part of life. He is happy, affectionate and gets along well with other dogs. He does not like to stay outside very long. ... (Read More)He's much rather be inside with his family. He is going to have to learn to do stairs with his 3 legs so perhaps a home without many stairs or with someone willing to carry him would be idea. What is my personality like? Spot is the happiest bichon with a loving and affectionate personality. He gets along well with everything 2 and 4 legged. How I act when I first meet new people: Affectionate House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. In his foster home, Spot asks to go out. He has someone with him most of the time so we've not tried him with being left alone for many hours and he has a pee pad that his sisters use also so I'm not sure if he would be completely house trained, but he's certainly well on his way. He used to sleep in a crate and he was clean in his crate all night. Now he's picked a dog bed in the kitchen and snoozes peacefully. My age: reportedly 11 so birthdate of about 2/25/2005 is our best guess Medical note: Since February, we've been working with Spot and his bum leg. He will not put down or put weight on his back left leg. We've tried laser therapy, medications, and plasma injections. He's had a biopsy and had the joint cleaned up. Nothing has helped. Spot has arthritis in that leg - and it's been left so long the joint fused and now he can't put it down. It's painful, he licks it a lot, and the leg is now atrophying from disuse. In the next week or so, Spot's leg will be amputated and at that point we think the rest of him will be quite happy to be without it. Spot can then be free to find a home. We think Spot will be ready middle of August. Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Rescue Me ID: 16-07-19-00282Amelia (male)

Chihuahua    Age: Young Adult

Date into Rescue: 3/7/2016 Reason for being in rescue: owner surrender, hoarder Foster location: close to Waxhaw, NC Special Needs? no Weight: 10.2 Height: 8 inches at the shoulder Adoption Fee: $125 Fence needed? no but Amelia does need exercise What kind of home would be best for me? I lived in a hoarder home, so a home that will understand I need time to learn to be a pet. A quiet home without a lot of children. I would love to go on walks and to sit with someone. I really want to be a companion. What is my personality like? Once Amelia gets to know you, she will be a shadow to you. Amelia is still ... (Read More)learning to be held and loved. Amelia is truly coming from rags to riches! In March, 2016 when Donna received the call about dogs who needed rescue from a hoarder situation, the Carolina Poodle Rescue van was loaded with empty crates and supplies .....ready to help in any way that was needed. One of the many dogs that came to Carolina Poodle Rescue from those horrible living conditions was our Amelia. As Amelia was receiving care, the vet confirmed that Amelia was expecting. Amelia gave birth to the cutest little male puppy on 3/25 and gave her little puppy excellent care. But that was the last puppy for Amelia! She is now on her way to learning to be a pet!! Amelia has now been spayed, had a dental and all her vaccinations are updated! Unusual for pets from a hoarder, Amelia was overweight and she has been working HARD to get into shape! Amelia is fidgety when you first pick her up and she makes the sweetest little grunting noises. However, if you give her time and speak quietly with her, she calms down and loves to be petted. She is learning to be cuddled. After being spayed, Amelia rested in bed with her foster mom and Amelia loved it. She would snuggle under the covers and curl into the cutest little ball. During those times Amelia made it very clear to the other dogs, she did not want to share the attentionČ'Ř|this is something Amelia's new owners will have to watch. Amelia is also very agile and can quickly jump into a chair and then to nearby tables. Amelia has never lived in a home, so she will beg for you to share your food and be very persistent. If there is a chair pulled out from the table where you are eating, little Amelia will not hesitate to try to get to your plate on the table. Amelia continues to be very food motivated and her new owners will have to watch her diet. Amelia is doing excellent on her housetraining and uses potty pads while her foster mom is at work. And Amelia loves her soft beds with fleece blankets. It is obvious she would learn to love cuddling on the couch. Amelia does not seem to be fond of the bigger dogs in her foster home (german shepherds) but she tolerates them. Amelia does love to go on walks with her foster mom around the fenced yard and to be outside and lay in the sun. We are still working on walking on a leash but Amelia is small, so she would probably prefer to be carried. How I act when I first meet new people: Very timid, I usually want to leave the room and hide. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Rescue Me ID: 16-07-06-00719Opie - HW+ (male)

Treeing Walker Coonhound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Date into Rescue: 12/31/2015 Reason for being in rescue: Owner release Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? yes, Opie tested positive for heartworms. He has just completed his heartworm treatment using the fast kill method which consists of three immiticide injections and four to six weeks of crate rest. Opie will be retested for heartworms six months after completion of treatment. Opie will need to be on a monthly ivermectin based heartworm preventative for the rest of his life. We encourage all potential adopters to research heartworms and treatment protocols to gain a better understanding of heartworms and ... (Read More)why a monthly preventative is so important! Weight: est 45 lbs Height: est 22' Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed: no, but he would love one! Opie is a goofy hound mix with a loving and playful disposition. He loves to play with toys, especially tennis balls. He gets along well with other dogs and loves to go outside and play with his many canine companions. Opie and his other hound friends love to engage in rough play and Opie likes to growl a lot when he plays, but it is all in good fun! Opie knows how to sit, and is also crate trained and runs right in his crate. Opie loves people and always greets them cheerfully. Opie came to CPR severely underweight, dehydrated, and a victim of neglect and abuse. We put him on a strict diet to gain weight and prevent refeeding syndrome and slowly nursed Opie back to a healthy weight. Despite his condition, Opie was (and still is), very loving and upbeat, wanting to play with his tennis ball while out on potty breaks. Opie does resource guard his food, but considering his past of not knowing when his next meal would come it's not surprising that he would be protective of his food. The perfect home for Opie would be an experienced adopter that will continue to work and train with him through his resource guarding issues. Opie would love an active owner to go for daily walks, hikes or jogs. He would do well in a home with another large dog to play with or as an only dog! House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Because of his heartworms, we feel Harley would do best in a home with an experienced dog owner that has a basic understanding of heartworms and the importance of monthly preventative. Harley is an easygoing guy that gets along well with people of all ages and would do well in many different home environments. What is my personality like? Harley is a complete sweetheart of a dog! Needs a female only home Weight: Est 15 lbs Height: 10.5 inches What is my personality like? Gizmo has come a long way since he first came to us. He was a 'touch-me-not' but is now a love bug with the people that he knows. He is seeking a female only home as he does not trust men. It will take Gizmo at least a week to start trusting someone, but that is a risk someone will have to take if they want a great ... (Read More)dog out of him. He is wonderful once he gets to know you! Gizmo is up for anything and loves to go everywhere with you. He gets along great with other dogs, and should be adopted by someone with another pet. He will follow their lead and realize that you are not going to hurt him! I do not think he will budge for a male owner, however. Who I am seeking: Gizmo is seeking a female-only home, and this is not debatable. Absolutely no children. He loves to go for walks and follow you around step for step. Age: birthday 1/13/2013 Please understand that these are rescued dogs, and sometimes their ages are only a guess. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture, and not to discriminate against older dogs. You never know which dog will steal your heart when you meet them! None Weight: est 20 lbs Height: est 17' Adoption Fee: $125 Fence needed? No Note - six weeks ago, Nalan came down with parvovirus. Thanks to our compete vets, and the prayers and financial support and prayers of many volunteers, Nalan survived this deadly disease and is now thriving. What kind of home would be best for me? Nalan is very much still a puppy. She needs a home that is ready to hit the ground running with puppy like training. Also someone who is ready for puppy ... (Read More)like energy! She would benefit greatly living with an adult, mature and well trained dog. What is my personality like? SWEET! Nalan is as sweet as sugar and as loving as they come. Her little tail will wag 100 mph when she sees you coming. She loves being around people although she can be a little head-shy at times. She has the puppy like demeanor and is loads of fun! She is goofy and playful. Nalan would do best in a home where she has a companion dog to not only play with, but to learn from. She is a smart girl and will learn very fast. She is very friendly when she meets new people! House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. My age: Under 1 year, estimated birthdate 2/19/2015 ~~Thank you for considering adding a puppy to your family. Puppies can be a joyous experience but they can also be a tremendous amount of work. You need to be prepared for that work. Because our goal is to place each of our dogs in forever homes, we are especially cautious where we put puppies. Our ideal puppy adopters are: *experienced dog owners with a solid record of excellent vet care of their previous pets *be scheduled away from home for no more than 4 hours per day *and for those gone 4 hours per day have another canine companion in the home *be stay at home type of people (work at home, home schoolers, retired, etc) If you fit this criteria, please apply for this puppy. If you do not fit this criteria, we strongly encourage you to look at our adoptable adult dogs. The number one misconception that we hear routinely from new dog owners is that they want a puppy because they do not think they can handle correcting past bad behaviors or resolving baggage. Not every adoptable rescue dog carries such baggage. Many adult dogs are well bred, well trained dogs who have lost their families through no fault of their own. The second misconception we hear is that adult dogs can not bond with a new family. This again is not a true statement. Adult dogs are ready and eager to give you their love. In return, you get a family pet that is a known quantity, known size and shape and color and ready to start on the new adventure, their life with you. Lastly, training a puppy correctly is a tremendous commitment of time and energy. This is why we ask the puppy seeker have more time at home than the average working family. Puppies are gregarious and social creatures who crave attention and positive direction. You need the extra time to do it right.~~ Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. Weight: Height: Adoption Fee: $125 Fence needed? no What kind of home would be best for me? Winter would love to find a permanent home with a nice quiet family where she can live out the rest of her life peacefully and comfortably. What is my personality like? Winter marches to the beat of her own drum, and she is a ... (Read More)quirky independent dog. She is much more of a 'lone wolf' than a member of the pack. She is surprisingly active for her age and likes to walk freely around the kennel rather than sleep the day away in a crate. She also enjoys sitting outside in the fresh air on nice sunny days. Winter gets along well with other dogs but prefers the company of older mature dogs. Rescue Me ID: 16-02-24-00630Sabrina (female)

Chihuahua Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Vaccinations Current

Date into Rescue: 5/7/2015 Reason for being in rescue: Sabrina was turned into a kill shelter by her family Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? None known Weight: 8 Height: 10' Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? No What kind of home would be best for me? Sadly we do not have much history on Sabrina, however if her behavior is indicative of her past...it was not a positive one. I will never forget the day we picked her up. We were actually going to the shelter to pick up another few dogs, and we saw Sabrina. She was hairless, crusty and absolutely petrified....and of course, on the Euthanasia list. Touching her ... (Read More)bare-handed was not an option. We got her back to the farm where we started making progress. We treated her skin for allergies and it took several months but she has finally grown a full coat back!! She is great with other dogs and has turned into a happy gal. Sabrina needs someone who is familiar with chihuahuas as she has a few quirks. Once she trusts you, she is a breeze to deal with. Sabrina only snaps if she gets very frightened (which happens less and less as time goes on). She has never actually bitten anyone. Sabrina is a sweetheart who is full of life and would really thrive with some one on one attention! We hope to find her a forever family, as almost 10 months has gone by and she is now ready! How I act when I first meet new people: Timid until she gets to know you House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. Rescue Me ID: 15-12-24-00261Jasmine (female)

Health: Needs to be Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Jasmine (aka Smarty Pants)! Breed: Australian Blue Heeler Gender: Female Adoption Fee: $200 Date into Rescue: 12/22/15 Reason for being in rescue: Found as a stray Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? No Weight: Est 30 lbs Height: Est 15' Fence Needed: Yes Smarty (Jasmine) is a good dog. She and Raven do play and play and play!! She will chase her toys and bring them back so we can throw them again. She has potential. I just signed up for training classes. BUT we have not given her the attention she needs so anyone who wants her will have to have time for her, patience , fenced yard(6foot). She can ... (Read More)jump but not six feet. In short she needs owners who like to hike, do agility and other activities. We are retired so we are with her most of the day. She knows how to walk on a leash but really needs a harness. We were thinking of erecting a ramp and or a maze of straw bales to let her run through. She is about two years old. She was found as a stray in Bryson City. What is my personality like? Jasmine is a young dog who needs a strong leader and an experienced blue heeler owner. S he knows how to walk on a leash but really needs a harness. Jasmine is high energy, true to her breed, and loves to catch sticks and tennis balls. She knows how to fetch, and will bring whatever you throw for her back to you. She has some basic obedience skills such as Sit, Crate and Come; she is now working on 'leave it.' Jasmine is a pure bred heeler and needs a job! Jasmine is a good dog. She and her foster dog sister play and play and play!! She will chase her toys and bring them back so we can throw them again. She has potential. Her foster has just signed her up for training classes. Her adopter will have to have time for her, patience, and a fenced yard. If given the chance, she can jump - but not six feet. In short she needs active owners - ideally someone who likes to hike, do agility and other activities. Her foster home also has 4 cats which Jasmine is learning to tolerate. Jasmine used to have a bad habit of 'nipping.' This was not in any way out of aggression but rather excitement and her herding instinct. She has now overcome this while in the care of her foster mom! Jasmine is fully crate trained, but still working on house training. Who I am seeking: An experienced dog owner, preferably with this particular breed. Someone who is home more than they're not. Age: est birth date 12/2013 Please understand that these are rescued dogs, and sometimes their ages are only a guess. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture, and not to discriminate against older dogs. You never know which dog will steal your heart when you meet them! Brussels Griffon Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Date into Rescue: 04/27/2015 Reason for being in rescue: We rescued Whiskers from our local shelter Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Weight: Est 8 lbs Height: Est 11' Adoption Fee: $125 What's my story? It's quite a story. On 4/19/2013 a cute little dog was taken to the local shelter after being found by police. No microchip was found and no owner came forward so the people at the shelter started looking for a home .On 5/28/2013 they found that home with a lady named Elizabeth. It could have happened anywhere in the Carolina's, right? Sure it could - but Whiskers was found running at large - in Oregon. That's a far ... (Read More)piece from South Carolina. Two years later, our Whiskers is once again picked up running at large. This time, a scan of his little body found a microchip implanted by the Oregon shelter he was adopted from. The chip was registered but attempts to contact the owner have gone unanswered. The phone # on record rings fast busy and the email's are ignored. After working with our new partner in Oregon on this, we've all agreed that it's best to find Whiskers a good home right here. What is my personality like? Whiskers has some behavioral issues, and a home without children is a must. He will show you his teeth, growl and snap over many things. He is a big resource guarder. He will guard his crate, his food, his toys, his treats, his friends and most importantly his human. Whiskers can be quite temperamental, possibly an indication of a bad past. He is in love with one of CPR's employees and does great with her. She can handle him, get him out of the crate, etc. Even with her, however, he will growl and guard treats. He also does not like his faced to be touch. On the positive side, he is a real cuddle bug. .He knows how to gives hugs and loves to show you. He will lay his little head on your shoulder to let you know he is there and that he loves you. Whiskers is very playful and loves to play with other dogs his size. Ideally, finding a trainer would be best. He seems to like women more than men and would thrive best in a home with someone that lives completely alone. Age: est birthday 04/19/2011 Please understand that these are rescued dogs, and sometimes their ages are only a guess. Rescue Me ID: 15-05-16-00310Stella (female)

Great Dane    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Stella! Breed: Great Dane Gender: Female Date into Rescue: 05/02/2014 Reason for being in rescue : Stella's previous owners surrendered her to the shelter after she developed tumors, likely from being bred too much. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? yes - behavior Weight: Est 100 lbs Height: Est 30' at the shoulder Age: We think Stella was born around May of 2010 What can I say about a big spotty girl with lot and lots of attitude. Stella came to CPR because of her health but she's still with us because of her behavior. Stella can't be trusted with people she does not know. That's the key - ... (Read More)if Stella knows you and you're a firm and experienced handler, she's your best friend. If not, watch out. Stella has many good qualities and is a fun dog to be around if she has accepted you. She is stunningly good looking, a large girl with a large heart for those she loves and trusts. Stella loves toys and she can be found collecting so she can keep them tidy and neat. She's a hoarder but not really for any caregiver can walk in at any time and help themselves to her toy collection and she's happy to share. Leave it laying on the kennel floor and she'll fetch it and put it back where it belongs, in her run. She's a very neat girl. Stella loves big, fluffy beds but she also has been known to get so excited she eats the darn thing. We go through beds with her. Right now, Stella is sleeping on a big Kuranda bed with a fluffy comforter recycled from Goodwill. That seems to be working for her. Stella loves to play with other dogs and she'll romp and play just like a standard poodle and she can run and jump, wrestle and roll with the best of them. Stella has never met a dog she didn't like and she especially seems to like poodles and doodles. It's people that drive her a bit crazy and we don't know why. We've had her checked from top to toe and no physical issues. She eats grain free food to keep her skin fresh and healthy but other than that, she is as healthy now as she can possibly be. Eye sight was suspected but it's just fine. So is her hearing. But there is something about certain people that sets her off and when that happens, Stella uses her teeth. We've only seen one incident of aggression out of Stella here that was short and did not result in any damage. All the caregivers love her. We placed her once and she came back with a history of biting and biting hard. When that happens we stop, we observe and we try to figure out what happened for there is always a trigger, you just need to figure out what it is. So far it seems to be somewhat resource guarding. For the rest, I don't know. Stella is adoptable to the person with a ton of experience and a firm grasp of doggie discipline. They must understand that if they give this girl direction and focus, she will give them back a devotion that will be unlike any they have ever seen. If not - then trouble will happen. If interested in adopting Stella, you must have a fenced in yard prefer 6' privacy and one other large dog. No children under 18 years old. No cats. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-04-04-00036Bean (male)

Pit Bull Mix    Age: Young Adult

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet Bean! Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier Gender: Male Adoption Fee: $200 Date into Rescue: 3-27-2015 Reason for being in rescue: Columbia Shelter - found running on the streets Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Very lightly positive for heartworms, need only dog home Weight: 50 lbs Height: Est est 22' What is my personality like? Bean is an exemplary representation of his breed. He is intelligent, spunky, loyal, handsome and just all around a sweet soul. Beans only flaw is that he does not fare well with other animals, he likes all of the attention for himself! He initially came in one year ago ... (Read More)(March 2015) as a bonded pair with a male standard poodle. They were best friends and Bean did GREAT with him. Unfortunately we had to split them up because no one wanted them both - we felt it wasn't fair to make them live at the farm forever, when a forever home could be right around the corner. Bean most definitely has the potential to go through training to work on his skills with other animals. He was not neutered upon his arrival and has calmed down a lot since we neutered him. He knows basic obedience, walks well on a leash and is crate trained. He is a big baby who wants to lay in your lap, play with toys and give you all of his heart. Bean needs a fenced in yard and or a hiking partner! He is strong, active and loves being out and about with his person. He had a history of fence climbing, however we have never seen him do this in his time at the farm. We haven't seen him with children, however his people skills are top notch as he loves everyone that he meets. He welcomes all humans with an open heart, a big smile and a wagging tail. He is an absolute love bug. Who I am seeking: Experienced, active owner. Age: est birthday 03/31/2012 Please understand that these are rescued dogs, and sometimes their ages are only a guess. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture, and not to discriminate against older dogs. You never know which dog will steal your heart when you meet them! How I act when I first meet new people: Please note - we do not ship dogs. If you are interested in adopting, please take a look at the distance between the foster home location and your location and make sure you are willing to make that trip. To apply, please visit our webpage at www.carolinapoodlerescue.org and visit the tab on the left that directions you to the online application. Please note that when screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, color, age, etc. Others here may be a better fit for you. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet. We want you to be very happy with your new companion and will make suggestions based on what you tell us about you.
